as some of you are aware, the new Smash Bros. is coming out soon, and Nintendope is gettin really fucking hyped about it, with all the announcements to the lineup. i myself am an avid melee/brawl player. what are you favorite characters? stages? melee or brawl? what do you want out of the new game?

Personally I enjoy playing as Meta Knight the most. My favorite stage would be that drawing stage (I forget what it's called, haven't played in a while). Brawl. I hope they just make a really good new one.

I hope they just make a really good new one. Meta Knight is the highest tier character in Brawl. Pictochat. that's a fun one. It's speculated to be a good middle ground between brawl and melee.

Pumped for Smash 4. I'll be getting the 3DS version at launch, for sure. Sadly I don't have a Wii U nor will I be able to afford one for a long time, but the 3DS version seems just as masterful as the Wii U one.
Sakurai is by far one of the most inspiring game developers out there nowadays. Kid Icarus Uprising was my handheld game of the generation, and I've poured hundreds of hours into both Melee and Brawl. His ability to implement so much rewarding content into his games without it feeling like filler is brilliant, and his game releases feel like events because of this.
Both Brawl and Melee suffered from balancing issues but the way they're tweaking the characters for Smash 4 is great. Rather than nerfing anyone, they're basically making every character ridiculously buffed, so that they're all on the same level without having to dull down characters.
I have to thank Nintendo for hosting the Smash Bros. Invitational at this year's E3, it was easily one of the highlights of my year despite the disappointing end result.

Been playing a bit since Christmas, and I gotta say I'm really liking Villager.
